Fake 1/10 OZ Bullion Coins, do they exist?

Hey,

I have been picking up a bunch of 1/10 ounce Gold and Platinum coins lately. Everything from American Eagles/Libertys, Phils, Maples, Krugs even Kangaroos. I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of fakes of these in 1/10 oz sizes? I always weigh and measure my coins when I get them from people online/eBay and so far everything I have received seems to be real. I tried to google for info on fakes/counterfeits for coins of this nature and I found very little info. I think because these are so damn small that it makes it harder to counterfeit them in a manner where you can have roughly the right weight and size without using as expensive of precious metals to counterfeit these.

I haven't heard of any fake 1/10, and I have a few of them too. I always weigh them also so no real worries.
I think a fake 1/10 would be thick enough to set off the alarm senses.

From another thread a couple of days ago----
This happened in 2006

They came in airtites as shown below, the felt surround hid the thickness.

The weight was right and the diameter was right but I finally figured that the thickness was way off. Most 1/10th coins are just over 1 mm but these were almost 3 mm. I immediately called the pawn shop and got my money back the next day.

saw some 1/10 krugs on ebay that the rim just seemed to defined/ high. Of course may have just been that the auction was surrounded on both sides by copy 1/10 krugs. REALLY hate seeing all the fake gold buff, krug auctions. Do not see the point on making that purchase.(or maybe do not WANT too see the point)

Platinum coins would be even more difficult to fake than gold.
